Santa Claus Comes to Town in Style to Benefit Children at NIH (VIDEO)

There was no Dasher, Dancer or Prancer as Santa Clause entered town early Wednesday.  Instead, Santa arrived to Montgomery County on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle for the police department’s annual Santa Ride that benefits The Children’s Inn at NIH in Bethesda.

The Children’s Inn is a residential “place like home’’ for seriously ill children and their families who stay together free of charge while participating in groundbreaking medical research at the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Before heading to NIH, Santa and his elves, also known as motor officers, traveled throughout the county on their motorcycles to pick up gifts and donations from local businesses and organizations for the children and their families.
