Super Bowl Chili Cook-Off (PHOTOS)

Winners of the Cook-off!

Winners of the Cook-off!

What’s better than chili? No, seriously, I’m asking. And chili on Super Bowl Sunday? That’s the picture of perfection. The members of Girl Scout Service Unit 31-6 agree with my opinion, because on February 7, about 40 people came out before the game for a chili cook-off. Thirteen people came forward with their entries, and the games began. Our very own Girl Scout Media Team served chili samples, and each person who sampled chili put in their vote. The cook-off ended with a three-way tie for first place, between Girl Scout Cadette Roshni Prawar, Green Tie Dad Doug Brauer, and Green Tie Dad Derrick Jackson.

Do you know what a Green Tie Dad is? Green Tie Dads are Dads who are registered with Girl Scouts, and actively involved in supporting us.

Congratulations to all the winners. Personally, I’d like to see a chili-off between our winners, but for now let’s just enjoy the chili.
