Elrich to Host PTA Budget Forum

County Executive Marc Elrich will host a Parent-Teacher-Association (PTA) budget forum at the County Executive Office Building in Rockville on Oct. 16.

The forum will be held in a hybrid format, residents can attend in person or virtually by going here.

The conversation is part of a series of forums called “Community Conversations”.

The purpose of the forums is to seek input for the fiscal year 2025 operating budget. The PTA forum will focus on priority issues for PTA’s in Montgomery County.

“We hold these community conversations to give people a chance to be heard because their voice matters,” Elrich said. “Their insight helps drive our decisions and our priorities for the next fiscal year.”

Elrich is required to submit a recommended budget to the County Council by March 15, 2024. The Council will have two months to adopt a final budget by June 1, 2024. The FY2025 operating budget will go into effect on July 1, 2024.
