On Wednesday, July 9, Councilmember Dawn Luedtke and representatives from Nonprofit Montgomery and the Department of Labor will hold a virtual information session aimed at former or present federal workers.
This session, designed to inform the public about “non-profit services, unemployment benefits and constituent services available to County residents,” will be held over Zoom on at 7 p.m. Residents can submit questions through the confidential web form or ask them during the meeting.
The session is part of ongoing biweekly webinar series “United in Service and Support.” The program seeks to support the federal workforce and its community. Past meeting topics include mental health, advocacy, housing accessibility and community food resources. Recordings of all meetings are available online.
Simultaneous Spanish interpretation is available for the meeting and past recordings.
