This week marks the anniversary of the tragic events of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Nearly 3,000 people were killed, including 11 Montgomery County residents.
On Friday, Montgomery County will host a Community Remembrance to honor those who sadly lost their lives 20 years ago. Scheduled at 11:00 a.m., the service will be held at Courthouse Square Park in Rockville.
