The City of Takoma Park will host a community tree walk led by the city’s urban forest manager, Marty Frye, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The tree walk begins in front of the Public Works Building and ends near the Takoma-Piney Branch park. Frye will discuss ecological facts along the way, according to the city of Takoma Park.
The event celebrates Arbor Day and community members can speak about their tree-related community projects by contacting Frye. Contact details and registration information is available here.
