Ariana Grande Fans Believe New Album is About Silver Spring Man

Grammy-winning artist Ariana Grande released her newest album Friday, titled “Eternal Sunshine.”

The 13-song collection is mainly about love, with many fans in agreement that the references made throughout, as well as the album’s title, are nods to Ethan Slater, a Tony-nominated performer whom Grande is currently romantically involved with.

“Halfway through Eternal Sunshine and nearly every song so far has been about Ethan Slater,” one fan wrote on X. “ES = eternal sunshine❌ ES = ethan slater✅,” wrote another.

The album is also said to be about Grande’s recent divorce from Dalton Gomez.

Slater, known for starring in “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical,” was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in Silver Spring attending Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School.

Slater and Grande are rumored to have met on set of the film adaptation of “Wicked,” set to premiere in November.
