On June 1, 2020, MCM announced it was named the winner of the “Overall Excellence” award for Community Access Media, Education from the Alliance for Community Media. Due to errors in the awards submission process, it has since been determined that MCM was not awarded that honor in accordance with ACM’s “Hometown Media Awards” rules. We regret any inconvenience caused by this error. Both ACM and MCM have made changes in their awards submission processes to avoid such errors in the future.
