Bethesda Big Train Ready to Kick Off New Season

For residents who love baseball and want to enjoy games closer to home, the Bethesda Big Train team kicks off a new season next week at Shirley Povich Field. MCM stopped by the stadium Thursday to get a preview of the 26th season for the team — which has had 25 players make it to Major League Baseball.

Big Train Founder and President Bruce Adams calls it “first-class baseball and small-town charm.”

There will be exhibition games Friday and Saturday to kick off the season, and the first official game is next Wednesday, June 4.
