LOCATED: Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School Teacher Found After Reported Missing

Update (5:20 p.m.): Police stated Riley has been found safe and unharmed.

Original (12:06 p.m.): A teacher at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School has been reported missing.

Police put out information Tuesday asking for the public’s help finding Emily Ann Riley, 50, from Silver Spring.

According to Montgomery County Police, she was last seen about one week ago on Thursday, Jan. 11 in the 900 block of Erie Avenue.

In a letter to B-CC families Tuesday, Principal Dr. Shelton Mooney said the science teacher was reported missing by her family. School staff have been in contact with police and Riley’s family.

“We are very concerned about Ms. Riley and remain hopeful that this situation will have a positive outcome,” Mooney wrote.

The police department asks anyone with information to call the 24-hour non-emergency police line at 301-279-8000.
