I just joined MCM as a summer social media intern and I couldn’t be more thrilled! As a rising junior at American University majoring in communications and minoring in sociology, I’m excited to bring my skills and passion to this role. I can’t wait to collaborate with the incredible community and company and expand my media skills.

I am a junior journalism major with a minor in business at the University of Maryland, College Park, where I am the engagement editor for the student newspaper, The Diamondback.

I’m excited to join the ECE department for this summer internship – I love all things audience engagement and using content to connect with people! I will be managing the community blog as a part of my internship, in addition to working with social media. If you are an MCM member and want to submit articles or blog posts about the Montgomery County community, feel free to reach out to me at awarwick@mymcmedia.org
