2. Film festivals this weekend:
- Bethesda Film Fest: Friday and Saturday at Landmark Bethesda Row Cinema See more here
- Gaithersburg Film Festival: Friday through Sunday at the Arts Barn See more here
3. Registration deadline: Registration is open through 5 p.m. for local middle schools to sign up for the county transportation department’s annual “Paint the Plow” competition to name and decorate an actual piece of equipment they will use for future snow removal. Participation is free and paint supplies are provided by the county. Register here

4. Crafting event: From 6:30-9 p.m., those ages 16+ can join a spring wreaths crafting event at the Upper County Community Recreation Center in Gaithersburg. It is $15 per participant and materials are provided. Register here
