Real-Time Arrival Displays Coming to a Bus Stop Near You: The county’s transportation department will roll out digital bus arrival time displays at high ridership bus stops around the county this summer. The displays will be located at 100 stops. They include audio and video readouts and text-to-speech options to increase accessibility. Approximately 50 screens have already been installed this summer, according to a press release.

5. Officer Killed in 1995 Remembered as Hero as Cold Case Arrest Announced: A D.C. police officer who was killed in White Oak 30 years ago was remembered as a hero on Wednesday as authorities announced that her then-boyfriend has been arrested in the cold case.
