1. Teens Night Out at the Pool: On Friday, 12-18 year olds can join a Teens Night Out with music, food and swimming under the stars from 6:30-9:30 p.m. at Martin Luther King Jr. Outdoor Pool in Silver Spring. Free. Pre-registration required
2. White Oak Block Party: There will be a block party Saturday from 12-3 p.m. at the White Oak Garden Apartments at 11600 Lockwood Drive. The day includes free health and wellness screenings, food, haircuts and backpack giveaways. See more here
3. Global Climbing Day: Join a day of free climbing and free rental gear Saturday hosted by The North Face and Movement Gyms. Local residents can participate at the Rockville Movement location at 725 Rockville Pike. See more here
4. World Cup Final Watch Party: On Sunday from 1 p.m. until match finish, the county will turn the back lot at 2425 Reedie Drive in Wheaton into World Cup final watch party. There will be games, food, drinks and two jumbotrons to watch the game. Bring your own chairs and blankets. Free. See more here
5. Teens Vote – Who Will Win the World Cup?: On Sunday, a voting box will be set up in the teen section at Wheaton Library where middle and high schoolers can vote on who they think will win the World Cup. Participation prizes are offered. See more here
