1. U.S. Adaptive Open: Golfers with impairments will compete in the U.S. Adaptive Open championship starting today at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville. Last week MCM talked to Ford Martin, a Potomac native with bilateral neurogenic clubfoot who will be competing.

2. Governor Reacts to Current Political Climate: As Gov. Wes Moore revealed to a packed auditorium at Leisure World on Tuesday evening, he finds the spirit of the Administration’s landmark legislation cruel and audacious. He assured the audience that Maryland will stand strong despite external pressure.

3. Council President Briefing: At noon, County Council President Kate Stewart will hold a media availability to discuss matters including upcoming public hearings and a resolution to support early voting centers in Montgomery County for the 2026 election.
