5. ICYMI: More than 400 school jobs are planned to be cut by the MCPS superintendent in order to make up for funding schools did not get in the fiscal year 2027 budget. Among the planned job cuts are social workers. MCM spoke with some of them earlier this month when large-scale staff reductions were first introduced.
