1. State grants 3-day waiver, allowing school to end June 18: Montgomery County Public Schools will end this school year on June 18. This follows Tuesday morning’s unanimous vote by the Maryland State Board of Education.
2. Candidate forum: There will be a County Executive candidates forum from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Wheaton Community Recreation Center. See more here
3. Takoma Park City Council: The Takoma Park City Council will hold a meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. The meeting can be viewed on YouTube. View agenda
4. Cherry blossoms: Peak bloom could be very soon, according to the National Park Service.
