2. ‘Mutt Madness’: From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, the county’s animal shelter in Derwood will host an adoption event for dogs, offering $16 adoption fees for all dogs. The shelter is full and many dogs need homes, according to the county. See more here
3. Cherry blossoms: Peak bloom is here, according to the National Park Service.

- The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring will be open daily for MCPS spring break. Reservations are strongly recommended. See more here
