1. Inside The Ropes: Over the weekend, Congressional Country Club in Bethesda hosted the Senior PGA Championship. Players over 50 were not the only ones on the course — young golfers with First Tee of Greater Washington, D.C. had the opportunity to go “inside the ropes” during the tournament.
2. Developer for Life Science Hub: Hines, a worldwide real estate and management company, was chosen to develop a life sciences hub to include residential and retail buildings on a 14-acre tract by the North Bethesda Metro.

3. Local Authors Dive into Suburban Drama: Authors Aggie Blum Thompson and Christine Gunderson joined moderator Liza Achilles for a conversation at the Gaithersburg Book Festival on Saturday, May 17. Both writers live in the D.C. suburbs and explore suburban life in their fiction.
