The Adventure Park: For the third year in a row, The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring has been nominated for USA Today’s “10Best” Aerial Adventure Parks in the U.S. The final rankings are decided by public vote over the next month, with the results announced June 1. People can click here to vote in the contest.

2. Council: The County Council meets at 9:30 a.m. to deliberate the operating budget.
3. Crosswalk signal repair blitz: The county launched a “Pedestrian Signal Repair Blitz” to make sure pedestrian signals are working properly. See more here
4. Active Aging Expo: Gaithersburg’s annual free Active Aging Expo is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Activity Center at Bohrer Park. No registration necessary. See more here
