Safety Day: Montgomery County’s Department of Transportation and MCPS will host a free, family-friendly Safety Day on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Carver Educational Services Center in Rockville (850 Hungerford Drive). The event features interactive exhibits focused on driver, bicycle, and pedestrian safety.
5. Fallen Heroes: On Wednesday, police officers who died in the line of duty were honored during the County Police Department’s annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Service.
