1. Job Fair: Montgomery County Public Schools holds a job fair today from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Rockville at the Shady Grove Transportation Depot. The school district seeks to hire bus operators, bus attendants, and mechanics.

3. Hillandale Local Park Reopens: Saturday, Montgomery Parks celebrates the reopening of Hillandale Local Park in Silver Spring. The park is set to reopen with a ribbon-cutting at 1 p.m. followed by games and refreshments.
4. East County Rec Center Open House and Resource Fair: The East County Community Recreation Center in Silver Spring will be open Saturday, Nov. 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be games, music and activities for families as well as information on resources.
5. History Conference: The 18th Montgomery County History Conference takes place Saturday, Nov. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The conference, presented by Montgomery History and Montgomery College, returns to an in-person format at the College’s Theatre Arts & Science Center in Rockville. Registration is required and costs $65.
And one more thing: Fans of scary movies have one last chance to see ‘The Exorcist – Extended Director’s Cut‘ Saturday at 8:45 p.m. at the AFI Silver Theatre.
