1. Albornoz Plans to Return to Role as Recreation Director: Councilmember Gabe Albornoz, who recently announced he will step down from the council Dec. 1, has now been nominated to become director of the county’s recreation department —the position he held from 2007 to 2018 before being elected to the council.
2. Montgomery College Joins Global 24-Hour Live Stream: Montgomery College media production students participated in a 24-hour broadcast that highlighted community colleges around the world.
3. Council Meeting: The county council will meet today starting at 9:15 a.m. The meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube @MoCoCouncilMD. View agenda
4. Flash BRT Meeting: From 6:30-8:30 p.m., there will be a public meeting on the county’s Veirs Mill Road Flash Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project at Albert Einstein High School in Kensington.

5. Garden of Lights: Tickets are on sale for Brookside Gardens’ Garden of Lights in Wheaton.
