1. Police Break Up Fights at High School Football Game in Silver Spring: On Friday night, several fights broke out outside Silver Spring’s Blake High School during a football game with Springbrook High School. No injuries were reported, and no arrests were made.

2. Takoma Park City Council: The Takoma Park City Council will hold a meeting starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Takoma Park Community Center. The meeting can be viewed in-person, on YouTube, the City Council video webpageFacebook, or City TV. See the meeting agenda here.

3. Pedestrian Safety: From 5-7 p.m., the county’s transportation department will have an onsite, outdoor community meeting to discuss proposed pedestrian safety improvements near Kensington Parkwood Elementary School. 4. Buffalo Wild Wings: Buffalo Wild Wings GO in Kensington will have a grand opening today starting with a ribbon-cutting at 10:30 a.m., and Free Wings for a Year for the first 100 guests in line starting at 11:00 a.m. The restaurant is located at 10619 Suite B Connecticut Ave.

5. ICYMI: The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center in Derwood is currently over capacity with dogs.
