The Brookland-CUA Metro station will be closed on Saturday and Sunday while crews replace switch machines that allow trains to cross between separate tracks.
Free shuttle buses will run between the Takoma and Rhode Island Avenue stations to replace Red Line service.
The Red Line will not stop at Fort Totten this weekend.
