The County’s annual Ride On Food Drive will take place from Sunday, May 25, through Saturday, May 31. The weeklong event, now in its 32nd year, is organized by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) in partnership with Manna Food Center to collect non-perishable food items for residents facing hunger.

Donations can be made on all Ride On, Ride On extRa, Flex, and Flash buses, as well as at several drop-off locations across the county. Bus fare will be waived for riders who donate.

Manna Food Center will distribute the donated food through its network of locations across Montgomery County. In 2024, the organization provided more than 4 million pounds of food to over 60,000 people.
