Council Offers United in Service Webinar Wednesday May 28

On Wednesday, May 28, the latest in the series of United in Service webinars created to support federal workers past and present will be held at 7 p.m. on Zoom.

Councilmember Evan Glass will host this online forum which will focus on home energy costs and assistance programs. He will be joined by representatives from the Maryland Public Service Commission, Pepco, Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) and Washington Gas.

The webinar is part of an ongoing online series offered biweekly. Issues explored will include employment, work development, unemployment benefits. immigration, housing, and health and wellness. To learn more about what assistance the county offers, visit the Council’s resource webpage.

During the webinar residents can submit a question in privacy in the Q&A feature. Councilmember Glass and his guests will reply to messages during the webinar.

Simultaneous Spanish translation of the webinar is provided. The webinar can be seen on County Cable Montgomery and streaming on the Council’s YouTube page.
