1. 6th District Police Station: The grand opening with ribbon cutting ceremony for the new 6th district police station takes place today at noon. Serving the Gaithersburg and Montgomery Village communities, the new 6th District Police Station will replace an outdated facility with a new, sustainably designed, energy-efficient building.

3. Celebrate Pride Month: June is a month-long observance dedicated to celebrating the contributions of the LGBTQ+ community and coincides with the anniversary of the 1969 Stonewall riots, a series of gay liberation protests. 4. Creative Gardening Solutions Class: Brookside Gardens gardening class today from 10 a.m. to noon. Learn to layer plants to create dynamic landscapes. Learn how to make a small yard feel big with innovative uses of garden beds and plant selections.
