1. Supreme Court Rules: On Friday, the Supreme Court affirmed the rights of parents to let their children opt out of LGBTQ+ readings in public schools. The case, Mahmoud v. Taylor, was filed in 2023 by county parents frustrated by Montgomery County Public Schools’ policy.
2. Pride on the Pontoon: Celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community with a relaxing cruise on Montgomery Parks’ pontoon boat at Little Seneca Lake. Spot wildlife like beavers, deer, otters, herons, and osprey. Learn more and register.
