1. Hoggle Case: A bond review hearing for Catherine Hoggle is scheduled today. More than a decade after her two young kids went missing from Montgomery County, Hoggle has been arrested and charged again with murdering the children. Jacob and Sarah Hoggle remain missing to this day.
2. Family, Firefighters Celebrate Rescue From Flood Waters: A very happy reunion Sunday brought together Montgomery County firefighters and the family of a 12-year-old boy they rescued from flood raging waters on July 31.
3. Inspector General Reports Problems with Criminal Background Checks of School Employees: According to a report from the Office of Inspector General (OIG), the criminal histories of more than 12,000 Montgomery County Public School employees have not been added to the FBI’s Rap Back and therefore are not being monitored.

5. ‘Official Lax Girl’ Visits White Oak: Summer campers playing lacrosse in White Oak received a visit from a county native who made a name for herself through the sport. Silver Spring native Tari Kandemiri — also known as “Official Lax Girl” — visited with the MOCO Lacrosse campers on Friday.
