A limited-time relief fund has been made available to Pepco customers who have “limited to moderate” income levels within Washington, DC, and Maryland. This fund was created through a donation made by Pepco’s parent company, Exelon, through the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army will be providing this compensation to qualifying customers. The fund provides up to $300 per qualifying customer to help with energy bills.
“The Salvation Army is proud to continue our work with Pepco to make it a sustainable reality over the long term.” – Major Wilma Mason, Area Commander at The Salvation Army National Capital Area Command.
