This fall, adults can learn how to ride a bike or an e-scooter at various locations around the county thanks to an outreach effort by the Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT).
The classes will cost $10 for county residents. Bicycles and helmets will be provided for free. Classes will be offered from September through mid-November for those who register.
County Executive Marc Elrich endorses the programs, “The classes are part of Montgomery County’s commitment to giving our residents transportation choices that build stronger, healthier and more connected communities.”
The classes are open to residents aged 18 and over. Classes are limited to 25 participants and fill up quickly.
