With the snip of a scissors, a food hall in Ellsworth Place in Downtown Silver Spring that was designed to reflect the diversity of the community opened Friday.
Restaurants serving Iranian, El Salvadoran, Korean, Ethiopian and Nepali cuisine as well as a bar can be found in Commas Food Hall on the top floor of the mall.
Ellsworth Place, formerly known as City Place Mall, is located at 8661 Colesville Road in Silver Spring.
Silver Spring Comedy Show will perform at the food hall on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
