Furloughed by the Shutdown? Gaithersburg Resource Fair Offers Help Friday

Multiple organizations will be at Gaithersburg High School from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday to help furloughed federal workers connect with area resources.

The event also will focus on providing emotional support for those impacted by the federal shutdown.

Some of the partner organizations include Bad Mutha Fluffa Pet Grooming, Black Physicians and Healthcare Network, CASA, Epworth United Methodist Church, Harris Teeter, Manna Food Center, Montgomery College, Montgomery County DHHS, Montgomery County Office of Food Systems Resilience, Nourish Now, Trinity Holy Cross, WSSC Water and WorkSource Montgomery.

The event is organized by Tiffany Kelly and Valarie Davis.
