2. ‘They Want to Break Us, But We Canât’: U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney (D-Md.) and County Council President Kate Stewart packed snack bags at the Upcounty Hub in Germantown for students last week as federal SNAP benefits were set to expire.

Whitman High School Stages an âItâs Academicâ Reunion: Walt Whitman High School was the scene of The Battle of the Ages Thursday as the 1970 âItâs Academicâ team challenged the Bethesda schoolâs current team of students and teachers. Boomers, Gen X and Gen Z competitors faced off during a fast-paced competition moderated by the television quiz showâs moderator Hillary Howard.
