2. ‘They Want to Break Us, But We Can’t’: U.S. Rep. April McClain Delaney (D-Md.) and County Council President Kate Stewart packed snack bags at the Upcounty Hub in Germantown for students last week as federal SNAP benefits were set to expire.

3. Whitman High School Stages an ‘It’s Academic’ Reunion: Walt Whitman High School was the scene of The Battle of the Ages Thursday as the 1970 “It’s Academic” team challenged the Bethesda school’s current team of students and teachers. Boomers, Gen X and Gen Z competitors faced off during a fast-paced competition moderated by the television quiz show’s moderator Hillary Howard.
