Police Investigate Non-Contact Shooting on Easecrest Drive

Officers from the 4th District responded to a report of a noncontact shooting, meaning no person was struck, at around 6:41 p.m. Sunday near the 11110 block of Easecrest Drive in Silver Spring, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

At this time, no suspect is in custody. Police have not released additional details about a possible motive or the circumstances that led to the incident. Officials emphasized that the situation remains under active investigation as detectives work to determine what happened.
