A Germantown man has been arrested in connection with the alleged assault of a child at a Dave & Buster’s restaurant and arcade in downtown Silver Spring last fall.
Christopher Michael Simpson, 30, of Germantown, is charged with second-degree assault and sexual assault related offenses, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.
According to police, on Sept. 24, 2025, a 10-year-old girl was approached by Simpson around 10 p.m.
According to charging documents, Simpson removed the girl’s socks and shoes and smelled her feet before leaving the scene. Detectives identified Simpson as the suspect through investigation, said police.
Detectives believe there may be more victims.
