Montgomery County Police have released surveillance video of two teenagers who were arrested in connection with a March shooting inside a Giant grocery store on Leaman Farm Road in Germantown, according to police.
A man was found inside the store with gunshot wounds. He had non-life-threatening injuries.
The surveillance video, posted Wednesday, shows two male suspects rushing into the grocery store around 8:40 p.m on March 20.
The victim walked in one minute later and the suspects began chasing him while armed. The victim was chased to the front of the store, which was occupied with shoppers and employees. One suspect fired several shots at the man. Police said he was struck twice.
The suspects fled after the shooting.
Marcus Isaiah Jovon Braithwaite, 19, of Germantown and a 16-year-old from Montgomery Village are both charged with attempted first-degree murder. The 16-year-old is charged as an adult.
Both suspects were arrested within the last two weeks.
