1. Weather: Gradual warming and dry conditions are expected, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Reduced fluoride in drinking water: WSSC Water is temporarily reducing fluoride levels in its drinking water due to nationwide supply chain disruptions which are partly linked to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
3. 19th annual Youth Voice Roundtable: On Friday from 6:30-8:30 p.m., the county’s Commission on Children and Youth will hold its Youth Voice Roundtable. Register here
MCPS middle and high schoolers can get two Student Service Learning (SSL) hours. The topics will be human trafficking, digital literacy and resilience. According to the registration page, the commission will gather information for policy recommendations for the County Council.
The roundtable is in-person at the Upper County Community Center in Gaithersburg as well as on Zoom.
4. Budget hearing: At 1:30 p.m., the County Council will hold a public hearing on the proposed FY27 operating budget. Watch here
5. The Pulse at Butler’s Orchard: On our latest episode of The Pulse, viewers get to explore the popular family farm as its 30th Annual Bunnyland celebration gets underway. It’s an Eastertime tradition that draws around 1,000 visitors a day during its peak weekend, according to Gina Giantonio, Director of Agritainment at Butler’s Orchard.
