Rockville is recognized as one of the most diverse small cities in the country and is a melting pot of more than 50 global cuisines and cultures.
For the entire month of June, Rockville Economic Development, Inc. is embracing this diversity with bites from all over the world. Through the program Explore Rockville: Global Bites, people have the chance to take a global culinary tour all within the city’s limits. Each meal eaten at a participating Rockville restaurant becomes a prize-drawing entry and a donation to a local nonprofit.
This cultural expedition has family-friendly activities, such as sticker collections for Global Bites passports. Children can fill their passports with stickers from four different “Bite Sites” for the chance to win kids’ and family prizes, such as a cooking kit.
