1. Gaithersburg Labor Day Parade: The parade is 10 a.m. Monday beginning on Russell Avenue, continuing along East Diamond Avenue and ending on Melvin Street in Olde Towne. See more here

2. Kensington Labor Day Parade and Festival: The parade is 10 a.m. Monday from Plyers Mill Road to Noyes Library. The festival is 10 a.m.-2 p.m. around Armory Avenue featuring food, live music and vendors. See more here

3. Pools: On Monday, the county’s outdoor pools are open until 6 p.m. See more here

4. Glen Echo Park Labor Day Art Show: The 55th annual Labor Day Art Show is Saturday through Monday from 12-6 p.m. featuring artwork from more than 500 artists from the mid-Atlantic region at Glen Echo Park. See more here
