On Saturday, Councilmember Gabe Albornoz filmed a touching tribute for his neighbor, Moira McCarthy, a nurse who works at Surburban Hospital. On her way to work, neighbors lined the street to cheer her on, waving and holding signs with encouraging messages.
Albornoz posted the video to both Twitter and Facebook, where it got thousands of views. According to his post, the video demonstrates “the best of our society and how we rally around each other, even in times of trouble.”
