Applications for the Black in Business Awards are open until Friday, June 20.
These awards honor the achievements of Black-owned businesses within Montgomery County. Finalists will be invited to attend an award ceremony on November 20, hosted at the Doubletree by Hilton in Gaithersburg to celebrate and honor their achievements and impacts within their communities and industries.
Their sponsors include MBA Growth Partners, the Black Business Council, NFP, M&T Bank, and the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation. They are accepting new sponsors as well.
The categories are:
- Best Hospitality Award
- Best Consumer Products Company Award
- Government Contractor Excellence Award (GovCon)
- IT Solutions Excellence Award
- Large Business of the Year Award
- Professional Services Trailblazer Award
