
Art Walk in the Park returns to Glen Echo Park on Friday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Held the first Friday of each month from May through August, the free event features open studios and artist demonstrations. Visitors can explore the park’s visual arts studios and galleries while enjoying rotating activities each month. Use the May Art Walk program to plan your visit.
The Glen Echo Park Partnership hosts the series, which includes hands-on art projects and artist-led demonstrations.
While RSVPs are preferred, they are not required. Learn more on the Glen Echo Park website.

WCM Jazz Trio to Perform May 2
The Art Walk on May 2 features live jazz by the WCM Jazz Trio at 7 p.m. in the Back “Bach” Room. The Washington Conservatory of Music presents the concert, led by James Peterson of the Accord Symphony Orchestra. The trio features Marty Nau on saxophone, Tommy Cecil on bass, and Robert Redd on piano.
Visitors can enjoy the Art Walk before or after the performance. Enjoy free admission and support the arts with a donation.
The event blends live music and local art for a unique Friday night experience.
