Hello, Dolly!
November 13, 2025
Olney Theatre Center, 2001 Olney Sandy Spring Rd, Olney, MD 20832, USADolly Gallagher Levi is a woman on the make. And what’s she making? Whatever you need. A husband? A wife? Dance lessons? Pierced ears? There’s never been a more indefatigable figure in American musical theatre, and perhaps that’s why the role has served as a vehicle for some of our greatest stars, from Carol Channing to Barbra Streisand to Bette Middler. Now, the DMV’s reigning musical superstar, Nova Y. Payton (World Goes 'Round), takes on the title role of a musical that churns out laughs, songs, and over-the-top antics as fast as humanly possible…and then goes a little faster. Audiences of all ages are guaranteed a great time at this classic musical about love, second chances, and the magic of an adventure to the big city! -

We have the perfect items for you, and those whom you want to shop for, so that you can cross items off of your list early.
Jewelry, pottery, little paintings with small price tags, holiday ornaments, hand-poured candles, woodwork, reed diffusers, glass work, bigger splurge items, and much, much more...Things move fast, and we'll restock over the coming weeks, but with many items, once they're gone, they're gone. So make a few trips to see us and get your gift-giving selections taken care of over the coming weeks. In the midst of it all, you get to spend time with some beautiful art, and just contemplate, and enjoy.
If you are not sure what, among our incredible selection of items, to give the art lover in your life, this is the perfect time of year for gift cards. Purchase a gift card today to allow them to choose their own artistic treasure, or sign them up for a class.
Holiday items are arriving daily and as always, gift-wrapping will be available for the holidays for a small donation. A Meet the Artists Reception is planned for November 16th, 5-8pm. Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome. We hope to see you!

Hello, Dolly!
November 20, 2025

Beyond the Marker: What Does Reconciliation Mean to You?
November 22, 2025 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Cultural Arts Center, Montgomery College, 7995 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910, USAA community town hall event that empowers MoCo residents to define reconciliation for the county. This program features a panel discussion and community breakout sessions to shape how reconciliation shows up in the arts, education, policy, etc. Reconciliation means many things: restoring broken relationships, healing racial divisions, and addressing past injustices to create a more equitable and harmonious society. It can take the form of a single powerful event or a long-term commitment to bridge-building and mutual understanding. The Montgomery County Commission on Remembrance and Reconciliation (MCCRR) invites you to answer the question:
What does reconciliation mean to YOU? What do you envision reconciliation can and should look like in Montgomery County with the right attention, intention and effort?
Across Montgomery County, individuals, organizations, and communities are taking courageous steps to confront our shared history, heal old wounds, and build bridges toward understanding and unity. We know this work is happening in quiet conversations, community collaborations, classrooms, and kitchens. It is imperative that Montgomery County defines reconciliation efforts for ourselves. Join us at 2pm on Nov 22nd, 2025 at the Montgomery College Cultural Arts Center in Takoma Park/Silver Spring to help shape how reconciliation is enacted in Montgomery County.

Hello, Dolly!
November 28, 2025

Hello, Dolly!
December 7, 2025

Gallery B Presents "Color + Light, Part Two"
December 7, 2025 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
Gallery B, 7700 Wisconsin Ave E, Bethesda, MD 20814, USAPainters Kathleen Byrnes and Jennifer Howard exhibit their works at Gallery B in November 2025 Kathleen Byrnes has taken to working plein aire, challenging her to work quickly and spontaneously. Byrnes uses the environment to infuse the canvas with mood and emotion. Working in predominantly oil, Byrnes has produced works that explore the light and structure of urban Washington DC, the Virginia and Maryland country side, as well as the inlets, bay, ocean and marshlands of Southern New Jersey. Jennifer Howard is a painter and graphic designer who has lived and worked in Washington, DC for over 37 years. Her paintings are about the moment, the immediacy of paint applied honestly, thickly and emotionally on canvas. She strives to convey a textural quality to the surface with layers of color and an emphasis on capturing light.
The exhibition runs from November 6 – November 30. Gallery hours are Thursdays-Saturdays, 12-5pm, and Sundays 11am-2pm. The gallery will be closed November 27-28 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
