On Sunday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. African Roots & Culture will take place at Veterans Plaza in Silver Spring. The event, presented by the Ethio-American Chamber of Commerce and organized by Total Event Solutions & Tibeb Event, will be a celebration of African heritage through music, dance, food, storytelling, and cultural exhibitions.
The goal of the event is to give a platform to the traditions, art, and history of Africa and celebrate the diverse culture. Communities are encouraged to come together in appreciation and celebration of the spirit of Africa.
