A teen golfer from Potomac is gearing up to represent the United States at the Junior Ryder Cup in New York.
17-year-old Zoe Cusack, a senior at Winston Churchill High School, will make her debut in the international competition as part of the U.S. team. MCM talked with Cusack and her coach on Thursday as they prepare.
Cusack and her coach, John Scott Rattan, practice at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda.
She and her 11 co-ed teammates will compete against the European team Sept. 23-25 at the Bethpage Black Course in Farmingdale and Nassau Country Club in Glen Cove.
