Clarksburg High School Students Walk Out for Palestine

Dozens of students walked out of Clarksburg High School to demand a ceasefire in Palestine.

On Thursday morning, the students left the school and gathered outside to demand an immediate ceasefire and to call on state representatives to sign H.R. 786.

The congressional resolution calls for an immediate deescalation and ceasefire in Israel and in occupied Palestine, according to the legislation.

The Clarksburg High School Student Government Association and the school’s Muslim Student Association hosted the walkout. Students returned inside the school building following the walkout.

Last week, protestors gathered outside U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin’s office in Rockville to also demand a ceasefire in Gaza.
