A commercial vehicle spilled diesel fuel onto Shady Grove Road by Briardale Road in Derwood Friday afternoon, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue.
A sand truck was used to clean up the diesel fuel on the road. Some lanes were blocked, and traffic was slowed.
There were no injuries reported.
