Countryside Artisans’ Fall Art Tours Available This Weekend

The Countryside Artisans Fall Studio Tour runs Oct. 13-15 at various locations in Montgomery and Frederick counties. This is a unique, self-guided driving tour of artist studios. Admission is free. The tour occurs rain or shine. Studios are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Countryside Artisans are a group of visual, sculptural, and textile artists working from their cottage studios located in rural areas of Montgomery, Howard, and Frederick counties. Attendees can meet and talk with the artisans at their studios and shop for unique prints, paintings, pottery, stone sculpture, hand spun yarns, knitted and woven apparel, wine, jewelry, and annuals and perennials for sale.

A list of participating studios with a map may be found on the Countryside Artisans website. Each studio is located within a 30 mile radius of Sugarloaf Mountain.

Or use the interactive map below to plan a drive through the countryside.
